Jeff Sitar, DDS
Meet Dr. Sitar
Dr. Jeff Sitar was raised in Minooka, Illinois, a small town just west of Joliet. He attended Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1988. He then went on to the University of Iowa, College of Dentistry to receive his DDS degree in 1992. From that point on, the Hawkeye state became home for Dr. Sitar. Following a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency he joined a practice in Davenport for two years. In 1995 he moved to Mount Pleasant and joined the practice of Dr. Richard Sankey. Dr. Sitar has owned and operated Mount Pleasant Dental Associates since 1996. Dr. Sitar has been active in the Southeast Iowa Dental Association having served through all the leadership chairs. He maintains active membership in the Iowa Dental Association and American Dental Association and continually strives to improve his ability to treat patients by participating in numerous continuing education courses every year.
Dr. Sitar and his wife Missy, who is a native of Mt. Pleasant, have two wonderful children, Marie and JC. Dr. Sitar actively participates in the Mt. Pleasant community and has enjoyed helping sponsor or donate to such things as Rock Around the Block, Trick or Treat on Main, Preschool Dental Educational Programs, Festival of Lights, Old Threshers School Tours, Mount Pleasant Little League and numerous other charitable events. When away from the office, Dr. Sitar enjoys attending his children’s school activities and sports.
